Abstract

Cultural intelligence is one of the considerations to deepen the organizational understanding.  In the dynamic educational landscape of SOCCSKSARGEN, the intricate interplay between cultural intelligence and organizational effectiveness emerges as a pivotal determinant in shaping the trajectories of public secondary school principals. This paper determined the influence of cultural intelligence on the organizational effectiveness of public secondary school principals in SOCCSKSARGEN. The study covered Cotabato Province, General Santos City, Kidapawan City, Koronadal City, Sarangani Province, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, and Tacurong City. The respondents were the public secondary school principals, teachers, Supreme Student Government (SSG) officers, and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) officers among mega public secondary schools. The study employed a descriptive-correlational research design. The data were analyzed statistically. Mean frequency counts and percentages were used to assess public secondary school principals' cultural intelligence level and organizational effectiveness. A one-way ANOVA calculated the significant difference between variables. The Pearson Correlation Coefficient was used to test the significant relationship between variables. The study revealed that the level of cultural intelligence of public secondary school principals in SOCCSKSARGEN was high. The public secondary school principals effectively managed the complex and diverse cultural environment. Similarly, the organizational effectiveness of public secondary school principals was excellent. The public secondary school principals had extraordinarily achieved their goals and objectives. There was a significant difference among the four factors of cultural intelligence based on the result of a one-way repeated measures test of difference. Similarly, there was also a significant difference among the seven variables of organizational effectiveness based on the result of an OWRM-ANOVA test of difference. Based on Pearson's correlation coefficient results analysis, a significant relationship existed between cultural intelligence and organizational effectiveness among public secondary school principals.
